Comprehensive Music x Henle x Debussy Music Arts Center | Sheet Music Promotion

In 2025, through the collaboration between the Debussy Music and Arts Centre and Pana Musica, we had the opportunity to connect with Henle Verlag, a publisher dedicated to original edition scores.

Their instructional series, At the Piano, introduced us to a different perspective on European music education and inspired us to rethink the possibilities of music education.

How should a sheet music collection designed for piano learners be used as teaching material?

We invited two instructors from the Debussy Music and Arts Centre to share how they integrate the At the Piano series by G. Henle Verlag into their teaching, offering students a fresh perspective on learning.

The At the Piano series provides in-depth insights, including detailed composer biographies, historical backgrounds, and structural analysis. It faithfully restores the composers' original scores, even preserving their original fingerings, allowing both teachers and students to better understand the creative context of each piece.

The pieces are arranged in progressive order based on technical and interpretative difficulty, with each piece designed to target specific learning objectives. This enables students to progress step by step, mastering techniques while gaining a deeper understanding of the composers' lives and styles.

Join us in exploring new perspectives on music learning with the At the Piano series by G. Henle Verlag!
