Violin Masterclass – Photo Recap
The “Marc Danel Violin Masterclass” concluded successfully last week!
Marc Danel, a distinguished violinist and educator based in Europe, made a brief visit to Taiwan, during which he not only prepared for a concert performance but also conducted a two-day masterclass, mentoring a total of 13 students.
Marc’s passion for teaching and music was evident throughout the sessions. He engaged each student with dynamic gestures, a warm tone, and expressive playing, effectively conveying musical ideas and emotions to everyone present. His attentive observation allowed him to identify individual challenges in posture, interpretation, and expression, providing tailored guidance that enabled each student to make significant progress.
A question Marc often posed was, “Do you love the violin?” This prompted students to reflect on their motivations for playing and their connection to music.
The final day featured a recital where students showcased their improvements. Marc, accompanied by pianist Yun-Yang Li, also performed excerpts from pieces scheduled for the upcoming concert. Their passionate and vibrant performance left a profound impact on the audience, exemplifying a deep love for music.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Marc and Yun-Yang for sharing their musical passion, and to all the students for their dedicated performances. We’re delighted to share the joy of this experience through the recordings captured during the event.
