ABOUT
Machiko Suto specializes in piano and harpsichord. She is meticulous and responsible in her teaching, producing a crystal-clear tone with exceptional technique, and her music is sincere and natural.
She delves deeply into the Baroque music, which is widely recognized by many musicians as challenging. Baroque music is one of the roots of classical music, involving the most intricate knowledge of classical keyboard instruments, from the finely crafted tone, touch, articulation, phrasing, ornaments, to harmony.
Whether for beginners in music or advanced music students, everyone can learn solid and delicate piano techniques and rich knowledge from her.

EXPERIENCE
Lin Shixin
▪︎ Co-founded the chamber ensemble IJ SPACE in Amsterdam with recorder player Liang Yizhang.
2017
▪︎ Received the Jury Special Award in the harpsichord category at the Prix Annelie de Man Competition in the Netherlands.
▪︎ Performed in the "Four Seasons" concert tour with Angela Schijf and the Vivaldi Consort.
2018
▪︎ Won First Prize at the 19th Biagio Marini Chamber Music Competition in Germany with the IJ SPACE chamber ensemble.
▪︎ Achieved Third Place at the International Van Wassenaer Chamber Music Competition during the Utrecht Early Music Festival in the Netherlands with IJ SPACE.
2019
▪︎ Invited to perform a solo recital at the “Wunderkammer Trieste” Festival in Italy.
▪︎ Performed with the Spanish ensemble "Ensemble La Pícara" at the “FIAS2019” Festival held in Madrid’s Royal Palace.
▪︎ Featured in the harpsichord solo recital “Time Traveler’s Fantasy” by Machiko Suto.
2020
▪︎ Released IJ SPACE's debut CD, Francesco Mancini: Six Recorder Sonatas, under the Swiss classical music label Claves Records.
▪︎ Performed the Venetian Passion concert as part of the C.Y.C. Arts and Culture Hall series at Chung Yuan Christian University with IJ SPACE.
▪︎ Collaborated with conductor Lü Shaojia and the NSO for the “Meeting of the Century” concert series in the NSO Master Series.
