On the journey of music learning, everyone encounters confusion and uncertainty, such as training in professional skills, cultivating determination, developing a proper attitude, and understanding music, life, and art.
Pianist You Xin-hua, who has studied in the United States for many years, attended the New England Conservatory in Boston and obtained a Master's degree in Piano Performance from The Juilliard School in New York. She hopes to share her challenging yet interesting training experiences, illustrating the process of how a young musician is cultivated, providing Taiwanese students and music enthusiasts with more insights into studying music abroad and the development of musicians.
This event will share the pianist's experiences of confusion between interest and professional development, various challenges and how to overcome them, the differences in learning in Taiwan and the United States, and the deeper implications of pursuing a doctoral degree in music.
