Music Gallery ——Yun-Yang Lee Piano recital
Pianist :Yun-Yang Lee
Have you ever pondered the melodies that might be swirling through the mind of the woman in "Listening to Schumann"?
Or, have you contemplated how the vivid scenes Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" might be thought-evoking?
How do composers perceive and interpret the interplay of light and color in visual art, transmuting these elements into melodic phrases that speak through the language of music?
Pianist Yun-Yang Li is a prodigious talent who blossomed early and that led him to further his musical journey in France - a sojourn that would span 25 years.
Immersed in a rich tapestry of artistic and cultural influences and having cultivated a profound relationship with music over the years, Yun-Yang has honed a performance style that balances liberated expression with nuanced maturity, exuding an irresistible allure.
For this intimate salon concert, Yun-Yang has curated a selection of pieces from diverse periods and moods, each connected to tangible works of art. He would like to invite the audience into the unique artistic realm he inhabits through this synthesis of music, visual art, and space.
