Photos from the Event Day
"Echoes of Lands — A Timeless Journey Home" Chamber Music Concert concluded last Sunday. We were delighted to spend a warm holiday afternoon together with fellow music lovers.
This time, we once again invited our old friend Dong-Yi, who joined hands with his good friends — Yu-Chen, Shao-Chuan, Zhao-An, and Wan-Lun — to form a chamber music ensemble. These five young musicians, brought together by music, communicated and listened to each other on stage with professional rapport, while offstage they cared for, greeted, and playfully teased one another. From preliminary discussions to group rehearsals, we witnessed the beautiful image of a group accompanying each other on their musical journey.
Having been in the music circle for many years, we have observed that Taiwanese music students often focus mainly on individual competitions and solo performances. While practicing diligently, they tend to overlook the essence of music — communication and interaction.
We believe music is a means of expressing oneself, sharing feelings, and a bridge for conveying emotions between people. Through this chamber music concert, we aim to convey not only the beauty of art but also the joy of playing together in the world of music with like-minded friends.
The Debussy Chamber Music Series will continue, and we look forward to your future participation to share and enjoy music with us!
